Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving just went by and I think that I should show you something my family did.

We made pumpkins! First we had to buy some lids. You need twenty-four lids to make one pumpkin. Of course, it has to be orange. We spray painted our lids. My mom would paint them as my sisters and I brought the lids to her. We were so excited, we started to push each other out of the way. Each of us trying to get our lids to Mom before the other can. This didn't end well so we apologized and slowly gave Mom the lids from then on.

After they were all painted, we had to wait for them to dry. Waiting is really hard. Especially when you are a kid. I recommend watching a show or movie while you wait. Preferably a Thanksgiving themed show.

Finally, the paint dried and we hurried the lids inside. We grabbed our 24 lids and started to put them all together. One over the other so that it formed a circle. Then we took some orange yarn and cut it. We took the piece we just cut and put it through one of the holes so it is inside the pumpkin. We put our fingers in there and grabbed one end. We pulled it so it went all the way around the inside of the pumpkin, then we tied the two ends together. After all of that, we needed to add a stem to our pumpkin. We put a few cinnamon sticks in the center of the pumpkin.

It was so much fun! I hope that you try it out.

About Their Owners
All of their bunnies are fed well and are kept clean. The Bennetts told me themselves! I am looking forward to seeing them in person!

Why Have A Holland Lop?
Holland Lops are known as being the calmest dwarf breed. They are very laid back, and often love nothing more than to be held in your arms. When well cared for and loved, a Holland Lop can be a fun and easy-to-care-for pet.  This was taken straight out of their website. Look at their website to learn more.

Interesting Fact About Baby Bunnies:
Bunnies are born with their eyes sealed closed! They also can't hear when they are born! Imagine! Having HUGE ears and still can't hear! That is terrible! What about Snap, Crackle, and Pop?
Their eyes open today!

Hope that you take a look at their website:)

See You!
